RETURNS & EXCHANGES
For hygiene reasons we will not exchange or refund goods for change of mind or incorrect purchase if the item(s) have been opened or the packaging has been damaged in any way. Easy Rest reserves the right to refuse return of goods for change of mind or incorrect purchase that have been custom made and/or can not be re sold. If the item(s) have not been opened or damaged, in the original condition and can be re sold the item(s) may be returned at the customers expense. Please contact our customer service team for returns authority details.
If your return has been approved and an RA number has been provided the returning item(s) must be returned within 14 business days from the date the customer service team have approved the return. If the customer service team deem the returning item(s) to be opened or used upon receiving the returned item(s), the customer service team may reject the return as we can not exchange or refund used goods for change of mind or incorrect purchase.
HOW CAN I REQUEST A RETURN, EXCHANGE OR REFUND?
If you believe your Easy Rest item is faulty or you would like to return your item(s) in accordance to the above accepted returns policy, please contact our customer service team via email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 03-9792 2300 and advise our customer service team the following details:
- Customer name
- Order Id Number (found on your order confirmation email)
- Product Description (found on your confirmation email)
CONSUMER GUARANTEES FOR FAULTY GOODS
If you believe an item is faulty, you may have right to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These rights must be exercised within a reasonable period of time. What is reasonable will depend on the nature of the goods, how the goods are likely to be used and the amount of use the goods could reasonably be expected to tolerate before the problem or fault became apparent.
If you believe a product is faulty, please contact our Customer Service team on 03-9792 2300. It may be necessary for you to send us the product for assessment, in which case you will be issued with a return authorisation number which must be noted on your return. In certain circumstances, our Customer Service team will provide to you a reply paid address for you to return the goods to us at our cost.
When a product is damaged by misuse or abnormal use, Easy Rest will not provide a refund, exchange or repair.
EASY REST PILLOWS MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
Easy Rest also guarantees specified products in accordance with the Easy Rest Pillows Manufacturer’s Warranty. This operates in addition to the rights you may have under the Australian Consumer law.
1 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In addition to your other rights and remedies under applicable laws, this product comes with warranty against defects appearing within 1 year from the date of sale (damage caused by misuse or failure to follow care instructions specifically excluded).
To claim you must (at your cost):
- notify us of the defect during the warranty period by email to email@example.com or post to Easy Rest Pillows, 27 Bam Wine Court, Dandenong South; and
- provide us with proof of purchase and the defective product upon request.
If we are satisfied the product is defective in materials or workmanship, we will then at your option refund, repair or replace the defective product or part of the defective product for free.
To the extent permitted by law and subject to your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and similar legislation, you agree that we will not otherwise be liable to you in respect of any direct, special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages arising in connection with this product. This clause will not be construed as excluding, qualifying or limiting your statutory rights or remedies where such exclusion, qualification or limitation would be prohibited by legislation.
